Alfie M. Tounjian, CFP®
Founder and President of Senior Info Center of the Mid-Atlantic
Alfie is the founder and president of Senior Info Center of the Mid-Atlantic, and has been assisting seniors for more than 25 years. Since founding the Mid-Atlantic group in Maryland, he has directed the growth of the company to eight states stretching from Pennsylvania to Florida.
Mr. Tounjian holds several professional designations including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Registered Financial Consultant (RFC).
Mr. Tounjian was born in Los Angeles and his spent his formative years in the Fort Lauderdale area before moving to Tampa to attend college. After college he relocated to Maryland and began his career dedicating himself to assisting seniors.
A member of the Wesley Freedom United Methodist Church, he serves on various church committees. He is also an avid tennis player, carrying a 5.0 ranking with the United States Tennis Association (USTA). He has also recently taken on the challenge of golf.
Alfie makes him home in Eldersburg, Maryland with his wife Tommie, his son, and their boxer, Sophie.
Ed Loftice
Ed Loftice has been president of the board/educational director of Senior Info Center since 1997.
Ed is responsible for coordinating and conducting workshops throughout the mid-Atlantic region where he informs seniors of current information and options available to them to assist in their post-retirement planning.
Since joining Senior Info Center, Ed has assisted in the growth of the company and has conducted over 800 workshops throughout the country.
Ed attended Towson State University, where he studied Business Management and played baseball. Prior to joining Senior Info Center, Ed owned his own building business.
Ed resides in Eldersburg, Maryland with his wife, son and daughter and two dogs. In his spare time, Ed plays guitar and enjoys golfing. Ed has been involved in the community youth sports programs where he has coached both of his children's teams, and continues to support local youth and high school sports programs.
Jeff Mose
Vice President of Research and Development
Jeff has been with Senior Information Center for six years. His passion for his work and his commitment to seniors quickly earned him a promotion to Vice President for Research and Development. Jeff is a member of the Society of Senior Advisors and the National Ethics Bureau. Jeff has participated in the prestigious IRA Academy to enhance his knowledge of retirement plans, and he continues his education on issues concerning seniors through coursework and self-study. A sought-after speaker, Jeff has presented hundreds of educational workshops for a number of organizations including AARP chapters, adult living communities, and local community and civic groups.
Before coming to Senior Information Center, Jeff spent nearly 20 years in the broadcast industry and communications. While earning his Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication at Towson University, Jeff began working for Maryland Public Television, both in front of and behind the camera. Jeff also holds a Master's degree in Communications from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
After high school, Jeff enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He became interested in a career in broadcasting when he was hired to conduct play-by-play announcing for the Baltimore Orioles minor league team (Hagerstown Suns). Jeff has also held positions in marketing and public relations for a technology services company.
An avid golfer, Jeff also enjoys travel, reading, wine, music, and volunteer work with various organizations. But Jeff says his ultimate personal enjoyment is spending time with his wife, Melisa, and their two dogs.
Bill Hazlett
Bill Hazlett has been a member of Senior Info Center of the Mid-Atlantic since 2002.
Bill has been working with seniors in Florida since 1988. Bill has also participated in the highly acclaimed IRA Academy. He has helped hundreds of seniors and their loved ones with his expertise.
Mr. Hazlett conducts educational workshops in Florida on the east coast as far north as Daytona and south to Palm Beach. He also does workshops in central Florida as far north to Leesburg and south to Lake Okeechobee.
Bill has focused his mission, energy, and resources towards one goal: "Providing guidance and peace of mind to seniors so that they can experience a better quality of life."
Bill resides on Florida's Treasure Coast with his wife Heather and their son Tyler. In his free time, Bill enjoys fishing and golf.
Joe Gennaro
Joe Gennaro joined Senior Information Center as a senior consultant in 2004 and truly enjoys helping seniors with the many complicated issues they face in their retirement years.
He was born and raised in a suburb of New York City. He then attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida, where he graduated with a B.S. degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He then moved to Seattle Washington where he worked as a flight test engineer for the Boeing Company.
Joe has been flying airplanes for thirty two years and has been a pilot for a major airline for the past twenty one years. He currently is a Captain on the Airbus A-320. Throughout his flying career, he has flown the Boeing 767, 757, 727 and 737 aircraft.
Joe has lived in the Northern Virginia area for the past nineteen years and currently resides in Manassas Virginia with his wife and three sons.
Joe's favorite pastimes include studying Theology, playing golf and radio controlled airplanes.
Chuck Gill
Chuck Gill joined Senior Info Center as a senior advisor in 2007 with 10 years experience as a senior advisor in the San Antonio area. Chuck was born in Fairfax, VA and moved to Galveston, TX after college where he met his wife Leigh Ann in 1989.
In 1994 Chuck was instrumental in developing strategic plans for advisors who sought a solution to nursing home spend-down for their clients. After moving to San Antonio in 1997, Chuck started his own practice and was mentioned in the Wall Street Journal as an innovator in the field of Medicaid Planning and has since helped hundreds of seniors protect their assets from catastrophic illness and nursing home costs. He is also trained in areas of IRA planning, reverse mortgages and estate planning.
Chuck and his wife Leigh Ann have three children and currently live in the Stone Oak area of San Antonio. Chuck and his family are members of Central Christian Church and his interests include church activities, golf and traveling with his family.
Chris Shultz
Chris Shultz joined the Senior-Info-Center of the Mid-Atlantic team after a very successful career in the finance and consumer lending industry. A graduate of The University of Maryland, Chris is working to complete his post-graduate work in financial planning. We are both excited and proud to have Chris heading our expansion into the Delaware Valley, where he will continue our tradition of professionalism in the areas of estate planning, wealth preservation and senior advisement. When he is not providing assistance to our many clients he is sharing his time he is sharing his time with his beloved wife and 2 young daughters in North East, MD. Chris has a tremendous range of interests from his love for the outdoors and all things natural, to his affinity for literature and history to his passion for sports and leisure activities. With his combined knowledge, experience and character, Chris will carry our standard of excellence to our newest clients in the Delaware Valley.Chris like several other of our Regional Directors is a proud and qualified member of the National Ethics Bureau.
